Soooo, how do you quilt a ruffled quilt? It's very pretty. Just want to know from a long armer standpoint!

Adore your quilt! Love everything about it. Love the colors! This is a fantastic idea! I have ruffle attachments that came with my 401. Am definitely going to try this one out.

As for quilting I'm not sure how this one could be quilted any fancy way, right? I like her tack down idea. Also you could straight line where each ruffle meets maybe. Any way though, this is just darling.

I have no idea how you could quilt this one on the long arm. I just tacked it down on the domestic machine.

That's cute! I love the idea of ruffles on a quilt.

I love the material you've chosen. I'm making a queen sizes quilt that will be "puffy" with ruffled binding. Sort of like the Rachel Ashwell quilts at Target only patchwork style. Your quilt is stunning though. I may have to look into this process as well! :-)

Thanks for sharing. That gives me an idea when I make my DGDs grad quilts, 5. It would be soooo feminine… Oldest DGD grads next year, think I have enough blocks, got to think about sashing & back. Working now on my oldest DGS's grad quilt. He too grads next year. the DGD decided to grad a yr early, sooooo. I am busy… Next in 2016 (2nd & last & bro to oldest) DGS graduates. Then 2017, 2nd oldest DGD (sister to oldest). Then have a 2 or 3 yr relief, then 3 more but 2+ yrs apart. As I've made blocks for girls, I try to make another for other girls. The monthly block swap I'm now in will help with this project/s...
