Rummage sale score
#1
My mom and dad went to a rummage sale this weekend and look what they found for me! I've been wanting a treadle machine for a long time. Mom guarded it from other shoppers (one woman offered twice what my dad was offered) while dad made the deal. I went to the Singer site and it looks like it was made in 1941. Came with the instruction book, a box of attachments, bobbin and thread. The black box of attachments is marked White so they probably don't go with the machine. I have no idea what all the attachments are even for so I'll have to do some research.

What a terrific find....you lucky, lucky quilter! Just think of all the amazing things you and this "old lady" will create together....and you are saving the planet (no electricity and she's been saved from an ignoble end). Thank goodness for your Mom & Dad's guarding and bartering skills. I am so pleased for you....now if only I could find one!
