Ahh ... soooo much prettier now that I see the closeups!! I liked it before, love it now. Those fabrics are yummy and they play so nice together. Well done!!

While not a brown lover, I do like this very much. Way cool.

Beautiful ... and colors absolutely appropriate for "Carpenter's" Wheel block.

QuiltE - When I think of a table topper, I think of Grandma's doily in the centre of the table with flowers or candle holders or some antique piece of glassware sitting on it. Before the two kitties, that's exactly what we had on our Duncan Fyfe dining table - doily with an antique glass bowl on it. I do NOT think of a placemat - perish the thought.

DHMom ... me-thinks it would go with your Spikes?

W4Me ... I'm like you and think of a tabletopper doing the same thing as your doily ... a decorative centrepiece on the table, with or without something on top of it. Gosh, I even have "real" doilies around my home, doing just that!!!

All ... how nice that so many of you are enjoying this tabletopper.
When I finished making it, I was so tempted to keep it for myself and make something else! I hated to say good-bye to it, but was happy as to who ended up with it in the gift swap. It went to a good home and will be enjoyed and well cared for!
