    Default S. O. S. :)

"Sort Of Scrappy". Not all the same, but not all different. As it turns out, I did have enough red to do twelve blocks. I had to rob one batik. It's the one with gold snowflakes. The squares were cut at 4 1/2 inches. This may or may not be the final layout. I wanted to put sashing, but now I am not so sure....

I'm showing one block close up so you can see the fabrics better.

I had made a couple of Nine Patch quilts some years back, and thought I was done, but this different layout made me come back.

I like it without sachings. I think a border all the way around it would finish it off nicely. I like the layout too. It will be beautiful when you are done.

I think it will lose some of it's "scrappy" appeal if you add sashing.

I vote for no sashing. It is wonderful as it is. Organized scrappy... perfect!
