Thanks everyone for the suggestions, Eddie is coming along nice. Actually I finished him I thought, but after reading some of the suggestions on here I think I may change a couple of things. Eddie is looking better and now is not so sad. except for where his maker mey have stuffed him so much and needed a couple of his seems mended.LOL Anyway, I will post a pic of him when he is completley done and for those of you that have asked for pattern I will post the link then.

I agree he's a cutie! I think you did a GREAT job! Some yarn or a ribbon tail maybe? And a very happy face.

happy face please eddie is cute. For a tail I would braid some dmc floss or cotton yarn and leave strands at the end for hair. stitch it on and wallah a eli's tail. Maybe draw on some eyes? but i think he is adorably loveable.

You did a super job. You know that elephants are very loyal and they are all for family. I collect elephants and I would love Eddie to join our family. I think he is beautiful (beauty is in the eye of the beholder).. I also would love to have the pattern. I would try to twek his trunk to go up (as that means good luck). Look forward to seeing his finished transformation and the link to the pattern. Thanks for sharing. BrendaK

PS: Smile for sure. He is happy to be here.
