A safe Christmas tree for cats.

Very nice!
Thanks for the reminder of pets climbing Christmas trees. She's been gone a few years now, but when we got our first basenji, Sugar, I bought an ornament at a craft show, made out of a Dog Bone (those doggie treat cookies)
That little dog climbed to the middle of the tree where I had it and destroyed the thing!
She was a good first basenji, teaching us how bad, in a comical way, that breed of dog can be.
( the basenji is called 'the dog for people who like cats')

This thread really made me smile. We had a calico cat named Susie who was a wonderful cat. One Christmas we left for a few hours but left her with extra treats, litter box etc. When we got home she had totally dismantled our 8 foot tree. It never tipped over and she had to have climbed clear to the top. Months later I was still finding the Christmas balls under beds and in remote locations. Nothing was broken. She was calmly sleeping on her pillow when we came home and acted like she didn't know a thing about the bare tree.
