Karen, I won't be able to make it. Will have out-of-town guests from Hawaii and South Dakota that weekend. Time is real short with them, otherwise I'd bring 'em along. My sister is an avid quilter from SD and my daughter and dear friend are going to be busy learning how to quilt (gulp)! We'll be BUSY! :-)
Bummer! Maybe next time! Have fun with the family!

Size 10 please :)

Absolutely adorable. There is a lady here at work who has been doing this for a few months. Not the selveges but adding things to lengthen her skirts or shorten then lengthen?!?

It is not something I would try but love the look of :)

talk about timing!! My GD is tall & skinny so it's hard to find anything long enough for her...so now i can save her jeans that is too short and make long skirt out of them, as that is what she's looking to wear (8 yrs old). Oh goody, she is gonna be surprised when i make her one! Thanks for the topic and tutorial.

Those are really cute. If my GD were younger I would make them some.
