    Gorgeous quilt, pond scum and all! One of my favorite sampler quilts to date. I love all the colors and the way you used them. Great job.............

    This is NOT your grandmother's sampler! I can see why you were frustrated with the amount of time spent, but this is an heirloom quality quilt and definitely worth every minute. BTW I love the pond scum colors, but not the name.

    I can understand how frustrating and overwhelming that much paper piecing could be, but the results are stunning! You did a fabulous job. The "pond scum" fabric works marvelously. I wonder why any company would even use that for a name.
