    I managed to borrow back the first large quilt I made, 3 years ago, when I first started this hobby/addiction. I made it up in my head and it is definitely not well quilted (SID 10 inches apart) but looking back on it now, I'm still not embarrassed by it. I gave it to my son & DIL and have convinced them to use it (they have a dog and are both paranoid it will get wrecked but they are the only 2 that really appreciate my hobby so I told them I would have a good excuse to make another. Pictures aren't very good, the background is black and the stitching is gold (denim thread). Thanks for looking .

    very nice. That is really sweet of your kids to respect your hobby that they would worry about ruining something.

    I can see why they are hesitant to let dogs on this beauty. As much as I love my pets, would also not want something this special to be damaged. This is truly art.
