There are 42 different symbols (they all mean something to do with life (Asian) but DIL has the paper telling each one. They were all done by machine, thick thread in the bobbin and I have no idea how I adjusted the tension to get the black(top) thread to come thru. The 2 kids(adults) I gave it to are just about the best people in the world, they are so "not" into material possessions but this hit them both the same way.

I have alot of quilts my inlaws made....alot from the 1930's that I proudly display. I know there are errors on them (nobody would know) but that shows they were handmade with love.

I am assembling my first quilt now and I know there will be errors, but, I don't care cause its my first one.

Its beautiful and I love the black.
