The prints do look to be feed sack era, if they are NOT tightly woven they should be feed sacks. If you have 20 of them it would be for a quilt. I made my antique blocks into a quilt using a yellow sashing that matches the center circle. Also used the 30's green in the borders. I love the quilt I made in the late 80's, I machine pieced the top but hand quilted it.
My blocks were made by my MIL and I was hand quilting it when she passed.

Those Dresden Plates are begging to be made into a quilt! You can wash it and work with the stains after the quilt is finished, and the stain products on the market today, will go a long way toward getting the stains out.

I have had good luck getting out stains from older fabrics with Retro Clean. Do an online search and good luck. They are beautiful. Let us know what you do with them.

I would say your Saturday pickin' was well worth the trip. Anything you decide to do with them, you can't go wrong.

A quilt for sure. The little spots just a touch of vintage.

I would put my money on feed sacks. I think I see some of my school dresses in there. LOL I think they would make a wonderful quilt, but they are your treasures to do with as you will. Have fun playing with them as you consider all the possibilities!!!

I have seen quilt blocks used as seat covers, they cover chairs or stools with them and then use clear plastic over them to keep them from getting dirty
