Default Scissor Mats.... just like a mug rug...

My wonderful husband built brand new sewing room furnishings for me! I wanted to protect my new sewing surfaces from scratches and gouges. With that thought in mind, I borrowed the idea of a mug rug, enlarging the size to fit scissors, tweezers etc.
Voila`, A scissor mat was born! I took 3 of my favorite printed panels and created the scissor mats for each sewing station on my sewing table. I will make 2 more for each side of my new cutting table.
The 2 with pins only need the binding whip stitched down and will be ready to go.

Too cute! Enjoy your new areas, and give that hubby an extra hug for being so supportive.
