I had a bagful of fat quarters that really weren't my style - someone must have given them to me because I know I wouldn't have ever bought them....so I tried to replicate a scrappy quilt I saw on a quilting show. I sewed strips of fabric together to make squares, and then I cut the squares on the diagonal and butted 4 cut pieces together to make one larger square. And the fabric that I didn't really like, turned into a beautiful scrappy quilt top....waiting to be finished.
