Scrabble quilt and Scottie Dog finishes

The Scrabble quilt is for our daughter as she completed her Master's Degree in Chemitry.

The Scottie Dog quilt was just for fun.

Congratulations to your daughter. I love it when women excel in science and technology. Your quilts are both great, but I especially love the Scottie quilt, and I'm not even a dog person. I love black, white and red, and your little blocks are so detailed. Very nice quilts.

Railroad - can i just say you brought back wonderful memories/feelings for me with this quilt you made as a present for the completion of your daughter's degree? My mom gifted me with a handmade dollhouse miniature as a present for the completion of my chemistry degree. it was the best gift, much better than a trip or dinner celebration or such. Congratulations on your daughter's accomplishment.. The quilt is such a nice gift.

Love both quilts. The Scottie is super. Is this a pattern or is it your own design? Love the colors.

I have no clue as to how you managed to get the scrabble quilt put together so perfectly. Both quilts are fantastic!

The pattern is a combination of patterns. The setting block is from "Scotch on the Rocks" by Diane Harris and is in he September/October 2016 issue of Quiltmaker magazine.

Your scrabble quilt is absolutely fantastic! I admire your being able to accomplish such a feat. Would love to make one for my SIL. The scotty dog is cute too.
