There has been a scrap Challenge posted earlier in the year and I took it to heart. I had tons of triangles left over from other projects so started using them to make Tree Everlasting blocks. I now have finished a queen-sized and 1 lap-size with 1 more lap-size to finish quilting. It's all out of scraps, no "fresh" fabric was used in any of the quilts. I just kept making blocks untill all the triangles of the 2 1/2" size were used up-now to find a project for the other size triangles I still have

I agree that scraps multiply when you're not watching. I've got boxes of squares and when a new pattern goes up on this message board that I want to try, the boxes come out. It's nice to have them already cut....ready for me to sit down and sew.

I know they breed at night!LOL! I have a box under my cutting table that I throw scraps in and every morning it looks fuller. My SIL does tiny paper piecing and she claims it everytime she comes!!!
