I was trying to decide what I wanted to do next as I just finished a round the world quilt as you go for my husbands chair. This will be my next project. Have lots of scraps. What size blocks did you make? Love it

Harriet, I love your Patches and Pinwheels. I made mine last spring and we slept under it all winter, and it's still one of my favorite quilts ever. A little closeup is my avatar.

I controlled the scraps a bit when I made mine. I used mostly black prints and white prints to make the pinwheels and lots of dots. I used all other colors in the 16-patch blocks. And I had sooooo many 4-patches left that I used them for one of the borders.

Your quilt is stunning. The beauty of giving a scrap quilt is that you know it's got all colors in it! It's got to match something in the room.
p.s. I also love the orange quilt on the design wall, peeking out in the photo of your backing. Please post pix of that one too!
