Thread: scrap quilt

    this is the quilt I did for my master bed room along with a valance I made
    the border is ohio star blocks . the othe blocks are 12" made up of 2" squares

    Wow! That looks complicated and a lot of work. Beautiful. I love scrapys. Neat idea to made a valance also.

    This quilt needs to make an appearance in a quilt show or an entry at the fair...You would surely win a ribbon or prize...You might want to send a photo to Bonnie Hunter at Quiltville site...She is the Scrappy Quilt Queen..

    the valance was from a simplicity pattern I altered it with the patches .
    the quilt is from Liesure Arts book ,which has a lot of great quilts to do.

    The quilt is Knig size . I first made it a queen then I had to take off part of the Border and enlarge the whole thing .Trying to find fabrics that would blend was a trick . I was luky to have a few left from the original after 2years.

    I don't think I would enter it in anything , it costs money to do that , and it is not an original, but thatnks for the compliment !
