    Default Scrap quilt top completed

Just finished putting this top together. I am making a good dent in my scraps.

Of course now, looking at the picture I see I sewed the two halves together upside down. Will probably take it apart & flip it.
funny how we don’t see those things until we post a photo.

There is no such thing as a perfect quilter! Your quilt is perfect the way it is IMHO. I love it. My eye wasn't drawn to your "mistake" until you pointed it out. And even sew, it is still perfect looks like it flows that way. From the center out. I love your scrappy colors and the white just brightens the whole quilt. Thanks for sharing.

What a great idea for a scrappy strip quilt. I love it. I have so many 2" and 2.5" strips. This gives me an idea. Thanks.

Lovely top! I see you already caught the boo boo as it is simple to fix it before quilting!

It didn’t take long to unstitch that strip, flip it over and restitch. All better now. My hubby even likes it- and he doesn’t usually like scrappy- it is spring/ summery to me. Will probably use a lightweight batting and light backing and make it a summer quilt for someone

Love this. So bright and happy. Don't know if I could nap under it, would spend the whole nap time just looking at it.
