Hopefully his power is back on...I have been amazed on how many were still out on Friday at work . We rec'd our power back on Wednesday night. Thankfully we did have a generator. it has been crazy the last few years! You GS will love it...it looks wonderful and I am sure it will keep him warm all winter long.

Like your quilt. This is my favorite "I don't really have to think about it" block--I often make them when I want to watch TV and sew at the same time! I do mine on light weight muslin foundations.

Smile old pickles in wash state

Love your scrappy quilt. I am pretty darn old and like to do fun stuff, not complicated just fun.
I started following this board 2 years ago when I got the idea to start sewing. Learned so much from all of you, I am doing a pretty good job now. So many ideas and lessons.
Thanks from oldpickles
Now I have to find out how to send this message to you.
