Scrap Quilts
#24
Hi everyone! A search for scrap quilts led me to this page. I'm in the process of making a quilt and I'm saving all the cut off corners of the flying geese. They will be big enough to make HST that are 1.5" finished size. I've lost my mind, haven't I?
I won't have enough to make a quilt from these scraps alone, but I also collect cotton shirts from the $1 rack at my local thrift store, and I have some strips from other projects that didn't get used. This is the pattern I'm thinking of using, or something similar. I have to finish my current project first .

Welcome from Northern California. When I first started I wasn't crazy about scrappy. Now that I have been at it for a while I have come to really appreciate the scrappy quilts. Your blocks are super. BrendaK

Welcome to QB! Don't worry about the mistakes...everyone makes them. Some of us just don't admit it! The second scrappy with the star and radiating swirls looks like it was fun to make. Enjoy the process!
