    Default Scrap Quilts

A friend who works at a company that makes baby carriers/wraps asked if I would make her two quilts using the left over fabric scraps and I was up for the challenge. The fabric frayed quite a lot and some pieces I liked both sides of the fabric and used them where I needed which created lovely texture in both quilts. I chose a hexagon pattern and drunkards path and I love how both quilts have come up. I had just enough smaller scraps to make a binding for one of the quilts, quite bulky but it looks great now it is sewn down.

I have asked my friend for more scraps if there are any so I can make another quilt or quilts.

Fantastic! Especially love the pieced border block idea.

Those are great! I especially like the drunkard's path one, although the hexie is also very, very nice.
