    Default Scrapping’ baby quilts

I made the first one called Sweet Dreams for a friend’s first great grandbaby….and just kept using the scraps until gone and made the others…then pulled out my crayola crayon scraps from a precious baby quilt and made the last. No patterns except the sweet dreams. Good to have replenished my baby quilt inventory. I like having these on hand. Happy to share that all these scraps are gone!! Woohoo!

I always enjoy seeing what you do. I also always love the fabrics you use. These will make very nice baby gifts. I’ve been planning on making my cousin’s first great grandson a quilt but can’t decide on a pattern. I like your applique bears and giraffes. Either would make a nice quilt pattern for her great grandson. Thanks for showing us.

The teddy bear quilt has Minky backing…. I just used cute cotton fabric from my bolts for the backings on the others…butterfly’s, owls, and flowers…. With fabric pricing the way it is right now, I am all about scrapping…

Thank you! That 2nd one, Sewbiz, is great for your 2 1/2” squares for those in the birthday club. I have no pattern but here are the measurements for the centers..

    4 1/2” sq with 1 1/2” snowball corners….bordered with 1 1/2” strips…..everything else is using 2 1/2” squares = 10 1/2” unfinished block size….then sashing strips and corner stones are
2 1/2”…. You can leave the corner stones out and just sash, too…which is super cute..

Thanks! We are always looking for more ways to play with 2.5" squares.
