Love it. You have given me an idea for the large window quilt I want to make for my grandson and his wife. What size pieces did you use?

nicely done... the quilting pattern is very interesting. is it a commercial design?

Thank you. I used 5" strips - the center rows are 3 5x5 squares , the outside pieces are 14" long - i turned every other block on it's side so the seams did not match. Please share your end result!

Yes ma'am! The quilting design is Abstract Block 212 from Digi Tech Patterns. I don't know the rules about posting links... but if you google DigiTech Patterns - this one is under their 'free' category.

Thanks, that is about the right size to use for the big picture window. I usually use 2.5 " strips when I do one of these quilts, whick I call boxed squares for the lack of a better name.
I'm going to do it and when finished will share a photo.
