Scrappy Batik Quilt

It's finished! And very heavy. Hoping washing will lighten it up and fix my wavy binding. Otherwise, we'll call it a scalloped or ruffled border! LOL!
No pattern to link, but it came from a wonderful book titled "Weekend Quilting Wonders." Took me way longer than a weekend! :oops:

Nice Quilt...
I saw a quilt using this pattern at the Pajaro Valley Quilt Fair, weekend before last. It also used batiks; however, the setting material was darker so there was less of a contrast between the elongated four patch and the setting. I liked the pattern because it was simple but effective. Looking at your quitl, I realized I will have to make a quilt using the same pattern. Oh well, imitation is the most sincere form of flattery...
