I like dunster's suggestion, that you could arrange them in the spectrum of the rainbow. You could also try them in what I think is called "Thinking outside the box" There are so many possibilities with log cabin blocks, look forward to seeing your finished quilt.

I was thinking the same thing! I think a progression of colors is just up this ones alley! Can't wait to see the end result.

That's a great idea! I made a plan on graph paper and know how many more blocks of each color to make. I am thinking that I'll make it 8 blocks across and 10 blocks down.

In bed this morning I thought, wouldn't it be nice to add a strip of fabric for a transition between each color section. I'm thinking about tone-on-tone fabrics. Between the green and yellow, I would put a strip of yellow-green fabric, and so on. I'll have to play around--not sure that will work.
