Default Scrappy Civil War Bow Ties

This was a "Saturday Sampler" program through my LQS. I made mine bigger than what the program called for; ended up making 432 three inch bow tie blocks. I really enjoyed it. Lots of different ways to lay out the bow ties, but I settled on this arraignment. Second quilt finished after getting my DSM back from repair :-)

Great quilt and my favourite quilting of Baptist Fans! Did you quilt your fans by machine?

that's a lot of bow ties! I like how the sashing border pieces break up the pattern, but then allows it to flow back together again. nice job.
