Wow! What a great idea to take orphan blocks for the center of your log cabin blocks. The quilts look great and you sure put some smiles on their faces.

I think you are very creative! Both quilts are super nice. Who knows, they may become quilters also.

You sure gave me a good idea to use my orphan squares. These are great quilts. You did an awesome job making the twins happy. I have twin gg and they love quilts.
