    Absolutely beautiful but for some reason, I like the matching center & border better than the other. Can't wait to see the finished quilt!

    I think Dresdens are always worth the time it takes to make them that pattern is one of my favorites right up there with log cabins.
    You are doing a great job so just keep on truck'n away.

    Very nice. I have a dresden plate that me mother gave me when she was dying (1959) and she said she had pieced the blocks while she was carrying me in 1934. So you know it is the 30's fabric. The dresden plates are pieced on 30's green, so I had them put together with a yellow sashing. Very nice, and I love it.

    I totally agree with you.. The one with the different color center was the first one I pieced and wasn't quite sure what I wanted out of it. I may rip it off and put the same center as the border.
