    Scrappy finish

This is actually the 3rd quilt I have made from this set of fabrics, the 2nd scrappy one. I cut my scraps in strips and using the "jelly roll race" method, pieced them together with a white block in between. I pieced the back as well. I believe I have used all this fabric to the max!

I love the bold colors, and have been wanting to do the jelly roll race quilt, but so many other things in line first.

Love that quilt and the backing is quite beautiful too. I made a quilt for our bed out of batiks and pieced the backing too and love the backside as well as the front. If it wasn't for the label, I would use it for the front sometimes. lol.
