    Omg, I love this! I especially love the yellow binding and the scrappy giraffe on black and white. Okay, I love it.

    It is the cutest giraffe quilt I have ever seen.
    I like the colorful back fabric contrasting with the mostly black and white front. The giraffe piecing is so tiny. Can you explain the process of how it was made? Thank you! Congrats on your new grandson.

    Shannon goes into great detail in her book, which also has lots of patterns. The giraffe is new and I ordered him from her website. The pattern is $8 & includes directions. Basically it's fusible web applied to as many pieces of fabric as you want. Cut the fused fabric into small pieces. Layer them on non-woven interfacing and fuse. Cut out the applique and apply to the background fabric. There are some other steps since the fusible won't tolerate a lot of washing, but that's the short version. Her book has really creative suggestions for cutting and fusing the small pieces.
