I finally made enough blocks--more than enough--to finish the top 6x8, but once I laid it out I decided it should be longer. I'd like to add one more row, but the pattern calls for two. I have enough blocks, just not the right color. But, I do have enough fabric to finish it up with the four blues and one green I need. I'll do a thin gray border, then see what's left of the other fabrics to add another, hopefully blue or green. Or maybe a scrappy border! I'll post it again when it's done.

Thinking out loud--as is without borders it'd be 54" by 72", but if I add those two rows it'd be 54" by 90". Maybe that's too long?

    Thanks for looking! :-D

Hmmm...maybe with two borders it's fine as is...

How wide are you making the borders? Maybe just make the borders wide enough to make the quilt the size you want...
    BTW, it's gorgeous so far!
