Default Scrappy Hunter's Star.... my first...

This is a scrappy Hunters Star from the MSQC Jennie Doan tutorial.

I can't even begin to tell you guys how much I learned (the hard way) doing this one...

Thanks for looking!

Very pretty quilt. A good use for my scraps, I think anyway

Great Wow Factor. I have not seen another Hunter's Star done this way; but, I really like it. Very, very strong eye appeal. Wonderful interpretation of a favorite pattern.

crideout, the MSQC tuorial was very clear, it was much harder to quilt it than to piece it. Probably because I am only beginning to use rulers. This was quilted on my Tiara. If I had it to do over I would quilt an all-over pattern rather than outlining the arrows and stars.

That's so pretty! I just bought the Accuquilt Hunter's Star die and can't wait to make it. Love that pattern.

oh yes also, as crideout was asking, I think I should have pressed my seams open (not sure which side to take on that debate, no pun intended) a lot of seams intersecting and misbehaving.
