Scrappy, and I like it! Update

Finally finished this quilt on my friend's long arm. Only the 2nd time I have used it, so don't be too critical of the stitching. I also added antique buttons and made matching pillow cases.

Really cute! I like it. Is that one of the patterns from Quilt string revival book? Absolutely love the buttons. Your quilting looks really good....can't tell only the second time out.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Diet Dr. Pepper in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

Congrats on doing the whole quilt yourself. The more you use the long arm the more you will gain confidence. Your stitching shows the best in the last photo. Look at it and notice how nice and curvatious your stitching is. It looks great to me.

You put an incredible amount of work into this lovely quilt. I love the pillow cases that go with it. Wonderful job. Thank you for sharing.
