    scrappy lap quilt

    This is my latest scrap quilt. I used the pattern "Singing The Blues", however; I used assorted scraps not just blue scraps. It was quite a challenge for me. I used sweatshirt material for the back and quilted it in a crosshatch pattern. Thanks for looking.....

    That is wonderful. Great job in mixing in more than blues. I've never thought of using sweatshirt fabric on the back - as I hand quilt - but it will keep you warm as a bug in a rug.

    Very pretty quilt. All the colors look wonderful. I also like the distressed white wall it is hanging on.

    I love patterns that have a secondary design ... so that the orginal block is not so apparent. Your quilt is a wonferful example... thanks for sharing it.

    Dare I say it..... beautiful quilt but I see four blue pieces in different places down the left side that are the wrong way around.... I do love it though....I could be wrong !!!
