Oh my, that is striking. Black just makes the colors pop. You did a great job.

Beautiful - looks like you used a lot of batiks, am I right? Love the colors. I have made a lot of Log Cabins but never tried a Pineapple.

Thank you, yes I used mostly batik scraps I had left over from my NY beauty quilt. This block is easy to piece and fun to make. Thank you for noticing the border detail. I did elaborate playing w color placements; the extra effort paid off.

I’m planning the quilt stitches in the 2 main areas.... attaching pics, one marked w masking tape (for now) and the other w the circle have not decided. May just stitch in the ditch
