What a great block! I need to find it. I'm in the middle of making my DMIL quilts out of her stash for each of her grandchildren. I've been keeping every scrap big enough (3/4") to sew with. I've been thinking scrappy blocks and now I have a pattern! Thank you!

I bought these a few years ago and have used them a lot, lovely size with a border for placemats, especailly with Xmas scraps!

https://equiltpatterns.com/index.php...ter_name=crazy Scroll down the page, there are 4 different ones, I bought all of them and am trying to decide whether to get the stained glass crazy quilt pattern, don't know whether I can find time for yet another quilt

I love your blocks, I think the black gives each block it's own attention, without the black sashing they seem to run together to me.

love your crazy squares and definitely some sort of sashing or the bias tape will do them justice. I know your heartfelt pain.
