I finished this one last week and it will be heading off to Sunami survivors next week. It's a very large lap size and I made it on a paper foundation to use up scraps. Then removed the paper and quilted up.

Very Nice!!!! I am so bummed. I was going to make a quilt to send, but my brand new long arm died on me and I had to send it to the hospital for repair. No time to do a quilt otherwise.

I like it very much. I did one like that one for one of my granddaughters. It is a nice way to use all our scraps.

    It is wonderful.

My group does charity quilts with the same block but we use a foundation of the cheapest interfacing. It is so light weight that you can leave it in. I normally get the $1 a yard interfacing from JoAnns when it is on sale half price. It saves a lot of time removing all those papers

Wow, very nice and colorful. Please tell us more about how to send an item to Japan relief. Are you working with a special group? Do you have an address you can share, or a link for us to follow? Thanks for your caring heart.

There's a coordinator for our local quilt guild that is collecting them and mailing them to the main headquarters that will be sending them off in bulk. Sorry, but I don't have a link or address.

That's a good idea for the next one. I used paper because it's free, but I was grumbling a bit during the removal process.
