Don't feel sorry, I had to study them for a while before I noticed the subtle difference in the center blue part as well. #1 has alternating solid squares #2 has a different block mixed in and #3 has the same blocks as 2 but arranged differently.

I have to say I am with the majority I like #2 the best as well. #3 second best. I like the variety the other block gives that center portion. This will be a beautiful scrap quilt when you finish. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
