I made two quilts recently using browns and pinks and needed to use up my leftovers. This variation of a log cabin worked well; the only materials I had to purchase were the cream and center pinks. It is twin size and will work well in our guest room or just as an extra blanket somewhere. I will probably use a large-size stippling pattern to quilt it.

Very pretty! Now I have a craving for ice cream. LOL! Pink and brown always does that to me.

Besides the pretty color combo, I like the way you used triangles in the centers, gives the pattern a whole new look!

Love the quilt and the idea of using your scraps up right away, so they don't get "lost" in a bag somewhere in your sewing room :)
