I have been saying for days that I am going to add pix of my scrappy's and here I go, the first one is of my grandson's 27th birthday present. One that I had been promising him since I started quilting fifteen years ago. The second pix is of a doll quilt for the great-grands.

    A Dresden scrappy flower pot

I saw this video on youtube and loved it. All those pots were the same and there was no sashing.
I added a sashing and borders, and made the pots different colors. There are 60 blades, and I think 58 fabrics - lost track and made a couple duplicate blades. I will definitely make this again, love Dresdens, love scrappy.
The blocks are cut at 10", next one will cut at 10-1/2' to give me a little wiggle room. The blades are 5" long and the pot was cut from leftover charms.
    Thanks for looking.

Was in need of some inspiration and certainly got it right here. I think this time change has got me a bit out of whack! PaintMeJudy's quilts are outstanding but all the pictures are such a treat!

Love your quilts and especially like the quilt with rings. I think I have that pattern-now you have inspired me to go and look for it. Both of your quilts are beautiful.

Cool St. Patrick's Day triple Irish Chain scrappy quilt

St. Patrick's Day quilt, triple Irish Chain scrappy quilt, Irish quilt. I am so happy to finish this quilt. I did not even make a dent in all the greens but many of my oranges got used up.

Great Irish Chain. Love it with the orange. I wouldn't have thought of it together, and it is GREAT!

I like the quilting you did on it, too.
    Nice!

    Monochromatic Strings

I've made many string quilts but this is the first time I've segregated them by color. This one is being donated to a woman's shelter but my husband liked it so much he wouldn't let it out of the house unless I promised to make a king size one for us!
