Everyone's quilts are so great! One of these days I'll get up enough energy to post my quilt tops, but I want to start the quilting on them this week.....I think there are about 6 or 7 tops that need to be quilted!

The setting is one of the alternates suggested. Not my favorite, but okay for a child. I haven't decided whether to border or not. It depends on finding the perfect border fabric. It was made with scraps from other quilts I've done and a gifted WOW background fabric.

Beautiful! I like how you scaled down the blocks. what a great idea with great results. About 11 years ago I made two baby quilts with this pattern, one in pink and one in purple, for my twin daughters. Indeed you are right the original pattern is a bit big for a baby quilt. I'll see if I can find pictures to post of the quilts I made. I agree, I think a border would be nice. Thanks also for sharing how you scaled it down. Now I will have to make another one with smaller dimensions.

Here are pictures of the two baby quilts I made with a similar pattern except these blocks are not scaled down. Indeed scaled down blocks like Loisf post #2975 did would have looked better for a baby quilt.

Those are so pretty, Anna. It must be fun to have twins.

Don't know why but I think scrap quilts are the most comforting, maybe it is because of all the colors.

A couple scrappies I recently finished. I think you may call the second one leftovers rather than scrappy -- whenever I make too many blocks, or it is set aside for one reason or another, I throw them in a box and when the box is full I put together a charity quilt. In fact, both are charity.

Re: post #2986; love the way you made leftover blocks on this quilt; great job on it. Love all these scrappys.
Lookyloo, love your quilts too, but have to say after looking at the setting of your quilt, maybe your name needs to be Luckyloo. Lucky to have such a beautiful setting. May I ask state you live in? Really pretty. Great quilts too.
