Lady T, that scrappy bear paw is wonderful. For some reason you usually see them in earth tones ... I guess more like a bear ... but your delicious scrappy colors really give the pattern a new look ... and I love it! Thanks for the inspiration!

OMG!! I LOVE your chicken quilt! Mind if I borrow your pattern? I have so many chicken fabrics and panels that would be awesome with the patchwork blocks you designed. All I can say is WOW and thanks for sharing! I can't stop looking at it!

Petthefabric -- when you get together with Krystyna, let me know so I can be there. You definitely have an eye for color and design -- both of you. I wanna watch the two of you and hope some of your skills can be absorbed thru osmosis.

petthefabric....what were the books you used to learn from for those? I have a book called Expanding the Basics, beyond basic piecing, by Ruth McDowell, which is interesting. You inspired me to get it out again and read some of it. I haven't tried the practice projects yet. But I was wondering about the ones you learned from? I've considered trying to do a basic landscape a couple times but think I need more directions.
