Scrappy Quilt show - Right Here!! :)
#2561
What quilt are you wanting to make? Can't tell from your post. My last quilt I threw together with scraps is going to be a practice FMQ for anyone at my guild that wants to use it & then the dogs can cuddle in it! That's only the 2nd scrappy I've put together I hated; the first one is my FMQ practice quilt...then our dog & cat can cuddle in it! (post #2550)

After reading each and every post in this topic, all I can say is wow. Our GGG mothers made scrap quilts to keep their families warm, if that reason was good enough for them, it is good enough for me. Since I have never made a quilt from a fabric collection or someone else's fabric choices, I guess you called say all of my quilts fall under scrappy. I also do not aspire to show any of my quilts, I am OK with 'done is better than perfect' too. I still work to make them better with each quilt, but I don't lose any sleep over 'not quite perfect'. I started this hobby to keep my hands busy, and it still meets that need. I will continue until it starts causing stress....where is that chocolate bar I just had? Lol!

Sorry pic heavy
Just found this post and I love all of the scrappies, a lot because I am on a scrappy trip at present. Below are pics of jsut a few that I have made for Project Linus and friends, ,mostly using patterns from Bonnie Hunters list http://quiltville.blogspot.co.uk/p/free-patterns.html The last pic is of another of her patterns Spiders Web and I am loving making it.
BTW I haven't bored you with the infinite amount of D9P n YBR quilts I have made, enough showing of for today
