have you found a pattern yet? i fell in love with the jewel box pattern 30 years ago when i learned to quilt. and i still haven't found the time to make it. do an image search on your fave search engine, i don't use google, & there's many sites that have the pattern for free in tutorials. it's a strikingly beautiful quilt that is sooo simple to make. pm me if you don't find a pattern.

Oh nice! I am not familiar with this pattern but it looks like a great scrap buster. I am a sucker for scrappies. Well done! I can see why you want to keep it.
Is this the pattern you used?

For more scrappy-ness to either patterns, you could do each side of the block a different fabric instead of all the same on each round.

wonderful! love all the color. i've seen a few quilts made with the linked chains as your first one. that's a new design to me ...think i would like to try it
i'm working on xmas sewing now, fall was spent still laying brick & hauling/leveling dirt ...can hardly wait for holiday sewing & traveling to be over for the winter & i can get back to my own quilting wanna-do's
