Here's my latest scrappy...It's my version of Charlotte Hawkes' Scrap-in-a-Box Mystery Quilt. Her pattern called for a the four larger squares in each block to be a single blender fabric, but I used more scraps instead. I also decided to go with the scrappy postage stamp border. I am thrilled with the way it turned out! (The seams are actually much straighter than they appear...I took the picture before pressing.)
The last picture is actually the backing for another Mystery quilt (not a scrappy). I didn't like it, so it has been sitting in my to-do bin for ten years! I finally decided to use my "ugly" floppies to teach myself to FMQ, so I just pulled a bunch of squares out of my precuts and stitched this up in an afternoon. I really like how it looks, so I think my back just became a front, lol.
