Thread: Scrappy Quilt

    This is myfirst scrappy quilt. It is patterned from a pic in a "Quilting" magazine. Sorry I can't tell you the issue or even the year as a friend of mine just gave me the page from the magazine.(she had gotten it some time ago) Sorry it's a bit blurred. I think I will either place a small 1x1 scrappy square in the middle block or else embroider something there as I don't like the "empty" look. It measures 90x108 enough to cover the pillows.Thanks for looking and I hope you like it.

    Looks great. The center 'blank' square could also showcase more detailed quilting.

    My plan is to use it mostly as a bed spread and wanted enough to cover the pillows. I have a queen mattress.

    the suares are 2 1/2 inches, put together as a nine patch. the 1/2 square triangle block measures six inches (6 1/2 with seam allowance)
