Default Scrappy Quilt

I recently acquired a die that cuts rectangles 2 x 3 1/2 inches. I reduced my scrap bag considerably by cutting for a week, took my time. I chained and chained and pressed and pined and chained again. This went on for another week. The borders were inspired by something I saw on Pinterest, so the black and white checked fabric. The outer border is actually blue, but looks gray in this photo. The top measures 80 X 102. Today, I felt like I accomplished something big.

Wow! A win-win. Scrap pile reduced, stunning quilt made. It is so cheerful. I really like that checkered border-it just is perfect. Great job.
