    I started this a few weeks ago.. trying to use up my bits and pieces of scraps.. I managed to use up every last none, and then had to cut into some fat quarters for the last row.. I have no idea for backing fabric, because I have nothing that is large enough, or struck my fancy.. But in time it might jump out at me when I am least expecting it.

    I really like the rhythm of the white (or light squares) running diagonally. Nicely done.

    hey oksewglad - the light fabric was a cream tone on tone sort of color.. And the inner border was just some long strips I had in a basket from a binding.. it was a little darker with speckles or something.. I am glad this one is done, though.. lots of cutting, and my eyes grew heavy with so many different scraps, lol.
