Here is the pattern I worked out on EQ6 for anyone who might want to have it. You can use this and use any size squares you want. I used 2.5".

I've made quilts with recycled shirts and jeans also. I've been wanting to make another one for myself. I think I will borrow your design to make my next one. Thanks for sharing!
