This defines quilting to me............ the old fashioned way.... to use, and use up... i'm in the process right now of trying to do that with a WALL of fabric... (that's the plan anyway)..... all fabrics i loved and want to sew up... i make quilts and sell them for 10 or 20 dollars at our semi annual craft fair... people about faint at the price, but the point is for me to have fun,,, use fabric up, and see the big smiles on their faces when they walk away with something handmade , that they love and can afford!!!!

It is such a beautiful quilt, in so many ways. Some day, when I have enough scraps, I would love to be able to make something as lovely.

It looks better in a quilt than in a box on the shelf like lots of my scraps. It has a charm all it's own.

Love your quilt the colours are so calm, I love scrappy too! They are my favorite kind of quilt and a challenge to put together some times, which is another aspect that I like about scrappy. Thanks for sharing.

I like your kind of thinking.
Our church camp has a quilt auction every year as a fund raiser. This may be the project to do. I did't think my quilts would be worth donating, but maybe I can handle a scrappy, I have almost a year to do it. And if it only brings $10, it more than 0 and like you said, someone is happy.
